ReplyDeleteHi I'm looking for information on my father, I'm just finding out he rode with ECMF, I'm not sure which chapter. Guessing providence or nearby. He recently passed and my aunt has a few nAMEs, I'll ask her when I see her. Was there a providence chapter?
DeleteLol.. Thats funny, my pops said back in the day they got thier tatts from Ronnies on Eddy st. Ive sense then been getting all my ink there, shops still open but sadly Ronnie passed about 2yrs ago.. Thanks for your info :)
DeleteYeah they had a clubhouse on eddy street back in the late 60’s until the Mulhern murder where most of them were taken down, the president at that time was Big Moose, several went to the can! In the early 70’s little moose and shotgun restarted the club if you want to know more hit me up I knew them all very well....
DeleteWhat years did he ride? Because the providence chapter was turned into the RI chapter which was the main charter of the club all other chapters reported to Shotgun in the early to late 70’s I know I was there... if you’d like to know more hit me up and yeah Ronnie did all our ink! All of mine for sure 😉
DeleteDo you remember Big Ben?
DeleteMad dog was my pops name 😊
DeleteI'm sorry never saw your replies sooner ..

DeleteI google ECMF specifically to see if I could find any info on Mad Dog . I’m getting ready for work and he popped into my head . I can’t remember his real name . But he lived in Providence, had a house that everyone was crashing in. He collected junk in his truck. He had one eye and he was wild and crazy, but I really nice guy. Through him, I’m at a man named Saugy . Got a tattoo at Ronnie’s Who by the way used to sleep in a coffin . But I can’t remember which one was Ronnie there was a dad and a son. The son slept in the coffin. The son gave me my tattoo. I went back there once a year or two after I met your dad looking for him, but he was gone. And the place was some sort of sober house.
DeleteDoes anybody remember my grandfather Carlo Piacente II. He died before I was born.
ReplyDeleteI knew your grandfather very well! He was known as Charger!!! He was like a father to me.. a good man and bp of the Rhode Island chapter of the East Coast Mother Fuckers! I remember when he passed I lived a house away I still cry when I think of it...
DeleteHe was VP of the RI chapter, his 2nd wife was Nancy he had 2 sons I have a head injury and my memory ain’t what it used to be but shit I’ll never forget Carlo
DeleteSorry to keep replying to you but like I said I knew your grandfather very well, are the son of his 1 of his son (s) I know 1 has passed awhile ago his sons were from his 1st wife, or are you the son of his daughter Renee? From his 2nd wife Nancy? I’m just curious like I said I knew him very well, I can still remember the day he was murdered, he lived behind Pal’s off of union ave above snoopy, I live in front of them on union ave I still regret being away that night! I came home and was having breakfast at pal’s and heard the news. I broke down like a bitch and cried... I knew him since I was 7 years old if you want to talk email me at joe_damico@me.com please I’d enjoy talking to you I’ve hit some stories boy.. 😉
DeleteE.C.M.F.O till death!
ReplyDeleteOnce a motherfucker always a motherfucker! 1% or is it 100% 😉
DeleteI just found this thread. My dad road with the RI chapter. His name is Freddy. He is in his 60's and probably has a lot of info and stories about all the guys.
ReplyDeleteDo you know his handle? I’m 61 and know a lot of the club history and members from the late 60’s on eddy street to the Warwick ave clubhouse! Shotgun, charger, animal, maniac, wolf man, Batman and monk to name a few hit me up I’d love to talk about it
DeleteAnimal was my uncle
DeleteAny photos of the coat
DeleteTried to find out some history on this club not much out there.my step father who passed in 1987 was part of or a hang around of this club .my mother had mentioned only one name to me Jim.bo my step father used a alias Johnny Savage don't know much more than that mom has altimers and doesn't remember much.
ReplyDeleteJimbo was from another chapter not from RI our chief was Shotgun!!! The RI chapter was the main charter the rest reported to them... I know I was there, the VP was Charger, other members included: maniac, wolf man, monk, animal, Geronimo, my fallen brother “little man” I remember them and the club on Warwick ave like it was yesterday! I’ve got an awesome photo of shotguns ol’ lady myself and chargers mistress...
DeleteI also knew Shotgun and some other members . Shotgun was seeing my friend Barbara Maples . My family would let Shotgun store his bike in my backyard . His real name is Arthur Bonifigulia . He passed away . He was a good person . 🕊️
DeleteAnd why did the club end?
DeleteHi! We are in the same boat. My pops was rumored to be in or part of ecmf I nm only found this out after his passing in 2016. My info is limited, but I believe the name he went by was nomad! Good luck on your search
ReplyDeleteI remember your pops he was a good man, sorry to here of his passing
DeleteIf you’d like to know more about the club hit me up at: joe_damico@me.com, I was around since the late 60’s I knew Big moose, my stepdad was sweet William, my uncle restarted the club and designed the center patch (little moose) or Beany so yeah anyone wanna know about the east coast mother fuckers hit me up at joe_damico@me.com iv got some stories boy... your folks would be proud I know I am!!
DeleteI'm gunna shoot you a email
DeleteI remember the ecmf back in the early seventies out of Massachusetts. I also saw them down at Ronnies when I was getting a tattoo oh, so that's probably correct. I do believe the Hell's Angels got rid of them. That's what I think I could be wrong
ReplyDeleteNo the HA took them over I believe
DeleteAhhhh Ronnie's was referred there by my pops, 90% of my ink is from there wouldn't go anywhere else
ReplyDeleteHell all my ink is from Ronnies! By Ronnie himself, my uncle restarted the club in 73, I can name off a few of the originals from that time: Little moose, karate Joe, Sweetwilliam, popagal, shotgun. To name a few
DeleteNever got any work done by Ronnie himself unfortunately.. but im still in there as often as my pocket book allows 😁🥴
DeleteToo young to remember them riding but the members or sons of members ive met are all stand up guys. I met a guy who used to ride with them and he helped me out with some tough times. I also bought some medical pot off the guy in Rhode Island who claims to have ridden with them and he was a stand-up guy too. My boss is Father rode with them and he would tell stories all day long about his... memorable childhood. I hope these guys are around for a lot of years to tell us the stories only they can tell, its history people!
ReplyDeleteWho was your pops? I have many memories of the club as well! I grew up with them too in the late 60’s through the 70’s and beyond! Hit me up I’d love to reminisce I’ve got some war stories boy make your hair curl
DeleteDoes anyone from the Providence club no of someone named Andy. Never found out his last name , I got in a car accident in front of a house on Hanover St and he was nice enough to drive me home.
ReplyDeleteHis name was Andy? Do you know his handle? If he was from the providence club he would have been an original! The clubhouse on eddy street went down in 69! After the Mulhurn murder the club was restarted in providence and they bounced around! In the early 70’s shotgun took over and moved the clubhouse to Warwick ave, it was a big White House with a large yard! I still can remember it. Damn those were the days! I remember when littleman died it was the largest biker funeral in RI history over 200 bikes I know I was riding 3rd behind shotgun and charger! Monk was road captain. Littleman was a very good friend of mine we I’ded his body by his new tattoo If anyone wants to know about the club hit me up: joe_damico@me.com
DeleteAh I'd love to see that .. so cool
ReplyDeleteI remember when the ECMF put on a 3 movie event at the providence drivin it was like a buck a car load I was only 13 at the time so it was maybe 1973 does anyone remember what happened that night?

ReplyDeleteso awesome to see folks reconnecting and learning about fathers and grandfathers. my father William Anthony Harris spoke of his membership on occasion. he passed when i was very young so all I have are second hand stories from my family. I am trying desperately to learn anything I can from anyone who knew him or even knew of him I think i really missed out not having him around so im trying to learn about him from folks that may have known him thanks so much in advance.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone remember Maniac's wedding to his first wife? How the reception erupted into an all out riot at the reception hall? Apparently this was a legendary event. They would laugh about it years later. I heard so many stories growing up.
ReplyDeleteMy step father was a member in the late 80s early 90s before the HA took them over.He was out of New Bedford
ReplyDeleteor Fall River Massachusetts he went by Long John Silver. Some names I remember were "Knuckles", "Country" "Bernie" "Torchia" and "Tripp"I remember going to a lot of fundraising events like pig roasts a lot growing up.miss those good old days
